Clearwater Mount Position

Hello Fellow Riders,

Looking for some feedback on the mounting position of some Clearwater Lights. The yellow ones were mounted on my bike by BMWLB and the ones with the bike on its side are a buddy's. He mounted them himself with the mounts with the diameter for that. I laid down my bike and the lights are about a foot or so clear. Thinking about having them re-mounted to get a bit more in the event of spills. I prefer where they are as I think they're more visible with the width but fear they may be damaged when I go off-roading. Any thoughts, experiences, observations greatly appreciated.

Best Regards and Good Riding
Isaac
