Been lurking for some time, figure I'd get caught up and finally formally introduce myself.

Been a member for several years and have owned both a K1200 and F800GS.

Sold the K1200 back in 2013; now solely focused on my 2014 F800GS.

Getting ready to go part-time at work (work a couple of weeks full-time, take a week or so off) as I ease into an early retirement at the end of 2017. Hoping to do a lot of 4 day overnights (camping) while riding two-lane and gravel roads in the Appalachians national forests (WV, VA, NC, TN etc....)

Always looking for new connections to ride with--give me a shout and cheers!

Got a son getting his masters at VCU and rode up your way to see him last year. Nice area and really enjoyed the history of the city. Wish I was easing into early retirement! Won't be too long now though. Have fun and welcome to the club.

Wow, next time you are in town let me know re: we live next to VCU in what is known as "The Fan".

Cheers.
