Who check info by VIN?

Welcome! What model and year bike are you interested in? For the current or late model bikes, I think a dealer would be your best bet to find out about the bike.

Hi, who try check dealer history (date with millage) by VIN ?

Unlike BMW cars, BMW NA does not maintain a comprehensive, nationwide database which stores the history of a BMW motorcycle. BMW NA does maintain a database which records recall status for a particular VIN (See: http://www.bmwmotorcycles.com/us/en.../en/virtualcenter/index_recall.html&notrack=1). You only need the last 7 digits of the VIN to make an inquiry for this vehicle.

For information about a BMW motorcycle's original configuration and production date you can check here: http://www.bimmer.work Again, this is a private database access system which works for all BMW motor products, and as with the other one, the last 7 digits are the only requirement.

I don't think I've ever gotten this to work...I keep trying the last 7 digits for my /7 and all I get is "Something went wrong, please try again." Maybe it works for later models. :dunno

That must be the case. I've never looked for a VIN for a BMW motorcycle earlier than about 2005. I have found some BMW cars from the 1990s, but not before that.

Same here until I noticed the "I'm not a robot" box, checked it, and then clicked "Submit".
