Scala mic hookup on modular helmet

Just bought a modular helmet and was interested in the best way to route/hookup the microphone. I have both the Boom and the Corded mic for my G9 that has a replaceable mic audio connection. I would like to be able to open the chin piece w/o disconnecting the mic from its Velcro attachment point.
    Any suggestions/solutions?

I hook my Sena's Velcro to the cheek pad. Out of the way of the chin guard, but still able to pick up sound.

Scala makes a replacement hybrid boom that you insert in your helmet.

The hybrid boom is held by velcro, plugs in like the boom and sticks out in between the padding and the shell.

    THANKS for the quick replies.
Yesterday, I ordered an additional audio kit that includes the hybrid mic.
