'09 G650GS Hand Guard Reccomendations

Went to the dealer today to buy a set of hand guards. However, dealer says they are no longer available (BMW brand). Some brands reference the ABS being a problem due to added riser height and a cable lengthening being necessary. Anyone have a brand and part number that fit they can recommend.

Thank,
Brian

Do you have bar risers currently? the handguards themselves need no other modifications to cables or such.

I looked at the parts fiche and they are still listed, if not typically listed NLA

Left- 71 60 7 682 224

Right- 71 60 7 653 854

71 60 7 659 140 PIPE CLAMP (2 needed)

32 71 7 659 838 SPACER (2 needed)

We have a set of Touratech on another bike with tubular bars and Bark Busters has some generic models as well

I bought the bike used, but it does not look like the previous owner had done any modifications. Just looking to add the handguards without having to modify the risers or the cabeling. I like the bar position as it is. I had Tusk on my CRF450X and they were awesome. Barkbusters seems to be of a similar design.
