Bakup Drivers Backrest

The Bakup Drivers backrest looks like an expensive but good addition to the R1150RT. My 66 year old back needs help and I would like to hear from any of you who have added this new option.

Don't know if this will help, but I'm 56 with an '04 GS who enjoys really long rides. Added the Backup back rest and a sheepskin butt pad and did a 750+ mile ride from Knoxville to Baltimore doing mostly back roads and very little interstate. When I arrived in Baltimore some time around midnight I was stunned at how good I felt--was like a short ride around the block, but I was hungry! I especially like how easy it is to put on and remove as I only use it on long trips away from home. For shorter day rides (<350 miles usually) I leave it off. Incredibly adjustable up/down and forward/back for your particular riding style. Only complaint is my GS is tall and I'm only 5'11", so mounting with all my gear on when back rest is attached requires a limber hip joint; however, that represents a minor inconvienance compared to the riding bliss the back rest provides. Added benefit is backrest keeps me from leaning too much on my arms (GS has a slight forward riding position) and getting numb fingers.

What is it?

What the hell is a, "Bakup Drivers Backrest"
Any pictures, links, etc.

link doesn't work

Here's the link: http://ascycles.com/SearchResult.aspx?KeyWords=bakup&All=True[/URL]It is expensive but looks easy to attach/remove and should give nice lower back support on long trips.
Link brings me to "BMW owners of America" home page

Your post forwarded me to BMW home page. I searched A&S but can't find the backup??
I am interested in buying one, is there another link?

I had one on my LT and found it to be of high quality. I took it off though, because I was too prone to kicking it when I threw my leg over. Then, a buddy did a low-speed get off and broke an ankle on a backrest on his Wing. I haven't used a backrest since.
