Switched Power for 2013 R1200GS LC

I looked all over the place on this forum and can't find the answer..................

I want to put a fuse box under the back seat of my GS. Where are you guys getting keyed power for tap into?

    Appreciate your help.

Try using the "tag cloud". Scroll down and enter some key words.
For a trigger, I still like the "plug and play" harness from Twisted Throttle. I works off the front parking light.

I added my Fuzeblock to under the rear seat up behind the tail light on my 14 GSA. Tapped into the tail light wire for switched power. works fine. Going on 2 yrs now

I put my fuse block under the passenger seat on my 2015 GSW. I tapped into the tail light wire as well. It comes on with the ignition and goes off a few seconds after shut down. I think I remember the wire color is grey and red and runs down the right side of the bike.

I ordered the Plug and Play from Twisted Throttle.....................
For $30.00 bucks it seems like a good idea.

    Thanks for your help.

Happy to help. Iffin' I wasn't on the Phonium when I responded, I would have provided the link. It's the way I would do the install of a relay trigger.

    Other options.

Check out the options from Aerostitch. they range from pure hardware to programable units. I used a progamable unit because it is self contained and offer many options. More money but I felt worth the cost.

I used the PMD 60. Check it out.

    From TT-

It's the trigger wire that allows you to use the parking lot light in the headlight as a "trigger power wire" to turn the relay on.
