Greetings from Wichita, KS. I'm Jason, and this is my bike, an '03 F650GS. I purchased it last summer from a place in Kansas City, MO (the pic is from the day I bought it) and didn't stop riding until December 24th. It is my first bike and I love riding it. I can't wait for the weather to clear up so I can start riding again. :)

Good luck with the "new to you" bike.
Any questions, just ask.

That looks like the side/back lot at Reno's Power Sports??? I have not bought a bike there but I have visited many times, taken a few test rides and drooled over a Ducati or three.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for being a member.

Thanks

Thanks for the welcoming comments, everyone. You'll probably notice from my join date that I've been reading for awhile, trying to get a feel for the place before posting.

Yup, it was at Reno's in Kansas City, MO. They told me that the guy who sold it to them drove it up there from Wichita to trade in on a Moto Guzzi. I just happened to be in KC, negotiated a fair price, then had a generous family member truck it back to Wichita.

The rider's manual only has maintenance stamps for the first year of ownership. Whoever bought it new did so in Wichita (when we still had a BMW motorcycle dealer) and put 16K miles on it in the first year. After that year, through who knows how many owners, it only was ridden up to 34K miles when I bought it in July and proceeded to put another 3K on it before the cold shut me down.

Welcome the forums boss. Love that bike. It's hard to beat those 650's.

Sorry bout your Chiefs.. We were rooting for them.
