Real Road Racing Series

SURVIVOR
Anyone else watching this series on the CBS Sports Network? Many of the riders are the same guys who ride the Isle of Man TT. As the name says, their races are all on on street courses. I'm currently watching the Macau Grand Prix and it appears that if a rider goes down there is no way to avoid concrete or ARMCO. They appear to ride production one liter bikes; the BMW S1000RR seems to do very well. One is leading the GP I'm watching. This is the third race I've seen in the series. The previous two were at Oliver's Mount and Scarborough in England.

I've watched a few. Gather them on dvr and check it out for a bit every so often. The action is great, but although I don't know the outcomes, since they're delayed by many months, it somehow loses its appeal for me.

Agreed, taped racing events do lose some of their allure. That being said, I am amazed at the courage, or perhaps the lack of any sense of self-preservation, these guys demonstrate by racing in the venues they use.

Lots of great action in the British and Irish road races.

Those guys are insane! But unbelievable riders. :bow
