How do you set the clock ?

If you do have the Navigator V then the clock will automatically set getting info from the GPS unit, even if you had the battery removed prior. I think that's how it worked for me. Hope I'm not wrong. Have not tried it recently. It must to be working since I don't need to set it for daylight saving time.
You're correct but it needs to have been selected as a menu choice, I think it's the default.
