Well I knew it going into the purchase but thought/hoped that it would be an easy fix. When has that ever been the case, right? Got a pretty sizeable discount on it but still nowhere what it would be to replace with a new one. This 2005 had 16000 on the clock and was owned by a female IBA rider. Good for her!
After tearing into the ESA unit what I found is that the ESA pre-load is stuck, can't move it and won't budge but the motor is still operable.
Other than that love the bike as I have my past ones, even two up riding. They just GO and GO!!!! My past ones have gotten me from the NW to SW and back without a hitch. Wish I had the time for more distant adventures but that time will come someday.
