November 2nd is the First Monday of the month so it is BT Time. Get together with some fellow airheads, have dinner maybe a Beer, in SE AK, The Kenai, in Anchorage / Valley, or the Fairbanks Crew. Fairbanks area folks meet up at The Silver Gulch, 7pm.
Tech Sessions have started in Fairbanks anyway. Gene’s R65 had its air pulse system successfully removed. Glen’s R80 is up on my lift. Thanks to John (Frozen Motor Works) Mansker for the loan of a bunch of special tools, the triple tree and forks are loose. George is looking over a pallet with R90s parts for a Right slider and a right ATE brake to add.. With any luck at all, this bike will have better brakes, a completely rebuilt front end, the top end of the motor and maybe some transmission work done before spring.
Kurt Anton Schreiber, 82, died at Providence Alaska Medical Center on Sept. 10, 2015. Kurt was a lot of things through his 82 years. MSF instructor, Northern Riders BMW Club, more to follow.
