    Bad Gateway?

I've been getting a page that says Bad Gateway when I try to to access some of the postings in the forum. It started last night. Most work OK but about a third of them get it. I'm pretty sure it's coming from the forum. I'm using Chrome on a Mac (OS X 10.10.4). Here's what it looks like:

Never mind, I think... I logged out of the forum, which cleared cookies, and logged back in and it seems to be behaving now. Shouda tried that first...

I'm curious as to the advantages of using Chrome over Safari?

I really dislike Safari. I think it's buggy and too proprietary (as is most Apple software...I'm not a big fan of Apple software in general...the hardware is good, albeit overly pricey, software...not so much). Chrome runs on most platforms and you can share configurations across platforms...nice if you use different OS's (other than MacOS and IOS). Firefox is pretty good too but doesn't run on IOS. I've found Chrome to be pretty stable, fast, and reliable, altho some of the early version were really bad. I'm not much of a software bigot, I've used about everything over the years and have Mac, Windows, IOS, Android, and a few different Linux versions on various machines (Chrome on all of them) but the Mac Mini with OS X 10 is my daily driver. But not Safari...

    As always, YMMV...
