Hi there...I'm a new owner of a 2015 R1200GS, which was an upgrade from a Kawasaki Versys. I'm really looking forward to learning more about the bike from people on this forum. I hadn't really anticipated buying it, as my nearest servicing option is 300 miles away in Salt Lake City. But after test-driving it back-to-back with a KTM 1190 Adventure (servicing option 4 miles away), the decision was pretty clear. I'm pretty sure I knew I was going to buy it before I even got it out of the parking lot at the dealership. Kind of clichéd, but the bike just spoke to me!

Hi

I was in Jackson just yesterday. Went up to the Tetons and then down to Alpine and then back to Rock Springs where I live. Look me up if you want to ride I am a new owner myself. Have a great weekend.

"spoke to me"...

"Spoke to me"...Good one!
GS/ spoked wheels w/tubeless tires and all that!
"Snowy," my 2014 R1200r is still giggling over that!

That's impressive. KTM's are amazing machines, but the GS is still a benchmark design.

And welcome.
