Bill "Roicky" Mayer saddle

bmwdean

BMW MOA co-founder
I have bought Rick Mayer's saddles for years. However, he is out of business.

So ... I bought a leather saddle for my 2015 R1200RT from Rick's brother, Bill, a.k.a. "Rocky".

See photo below.

I had a couple of Bill's seats in the past. Was very happy with them with no complaints. He makes a great seat. Then, at least for me I couldn't tell the difference from leather and quality vinyl aside from looks so I ended up switching to have less maintanence and being waterproof. My latest seats have been Sargents.

Rocky made me a seat for my 1200GS and my 1600GT
He'll get a third one when I can schedule a ride in on my new RT
Well worth the time, to do a ride in if you can

I did not know Rick Mayer was out of business . His web page is still up .
Are you sure about this ?
Mike
