I have reserved space in an 18 day small group tour in Nov/Dec 2015 with Compass Expeditions. Am wondering about how to find reliable/high quality medical insurance, perhaps a medical evacuation service/insurance in case I am injured/get ill during the trip. Does anyone have any experience with such insurance, or suggestions as to what company to contact? Thanks for any guidance.
From experience I can recommend MedJet Assist as an evacuation insurance. They will move you from a hospital over 150 miles from home to one in your neighborhood with very little paperwork involved. Cost is reasonable.

On a side note I just watched the Top Gear episode from 2014 where they drove the three V8 engine cars through Chile and Argentina. Stunning scenery. Enjoy.
