Friend has a airhead and is looking for a mechanic in the northern NJ area to do some work on bike. Can anyone recommend a shop or independent mechanic?

Thanks,

Look in the link in my signature line...there is a section on independent mechanics...specifically look for the webpage at micapeak.

What does he need? I'm could help out depending on what it is as I have a lot of the special tools. I'm in the Sayreville/Woodbridge area, but PM me for the details.

Mike Kowall (MG Cycle) in Howell is definitely a safe bet otherwise.

Your friend should join the Airhead Beemers. I'm in Rockland county NY- just across the border from Bergen, NJ and we had a Airhead tech day 2 weeks ago. A bunch of people get together to work out problems or maintenance on their bikes, or just connect with local Airheads. (it was advertised in the Airhead newsletter, and the Airhead FB page) We got bikes from Long Island, Jersey, CT and a couple more NY counties.
I have a /6 and could help with carbs if your friend is way north jersey. PM me. Otherwise I would definitely recommend Tom Cutter in Yardley, PA (Rubber Chicken Garage). Independent mechanic and airhead magician.
