2015 R1200GSA - Maintenance Intervals

105258

Old Rider - OK Mechanic
Just bought a new 1200GSA and my dealer is playing the must bring it here for service card. Anyone know the service intervals for;

- changing rear gear oil
- valve inspection/adjustment
- does the engine need to be sync'd as the old version ?
- the check sheet he gave me after the break-in service shows changing the transmission oil - doesn't make sense as I assumed the trans is lubricated with the engine oil ?

Anyone have any answers to these questions ?

2013 R1200 GS Loaner…

I have a borrowed 2013 R1200 GS LC.
Can anyone please tell me what are the recommended tire pressures are?

Welcome to the forum!
Check the neck of the frame, there should be a tag with the VIN, pressures and related.
Good luck.
Gary

"Must bring it here..." - Hogwash. In the USA, at least, dunno about up there, eh.

Let them do the first service, to catch any gripes or assembly goofs/software updates/etc., but as long as you keep all the receipts for oil, filters, etc. (I use a spiral-bound notebook), you should be covered "legally".
