Nashville advice?

Okay my Spring trip is finalized but I need some advice. I'll do a slab blast to get from the Florida Keys to Dallas for Mother's Day and hang out with old friends there for a few days followed by a several days meandering the twisties in Northern Arkansas. It's been a long while since I've been up there and am looking forward to riding the area again. Then I'll ride across TN to NC, spending several days there before heading down through GA to home.

Now the advice; I've got to get across TN to get to NC. I could blast across to Knoxville but since I've never been to Nashville, I thought I could instead spend the night there. I'm not a big city rated individual so where should I stay, where should I avoid.

Thanks,

Sorry - can't recommend accommodations as i stayed at the KOA but love that town. There is a downtown Hilton adjacent to the arena that the Predators play at - might be pricy but you can walk to all the bars and attractions from it. There is also a Hampton Inn about two blocks from the Hilton. Be sure to visit Bloodsworth BMW, Country Music Hall of fame and the Grand Ole Opry.

Downtown sheraton. Walking distance to a great bbq joint and to the honkytonk bar area. If you have time hit up Hatie B's or Princes fried chicken.

Thanks all.

Thanks for the tips. From there I'll be headed across north of Knoxville to Burnsville, NC to spend a night with friends and then to Spruce Pine where I'll pick up the BRP headed back to its southernmost point where I'll swing off and go to Highlands then meander to Dillard, GA before heading south toward FL.
