Been riding bikes for 50 yrs. Got my first BMW in 1997, R100RT. Then got into K bikes. Have a 2003 K1200GT which Ive owned for 10 yrs. Also have a 1969 R69S with earls forks that ive had for a yr now. Doing a good clean up on it, not a restore. But its been off the road since about 1993. I do see a couple members here from one of the BMW vintage forums I use.
Retired now, but had a part time job which was getting in my way of riding. Told the boss I needed 4-5 months off for riding and honey does. He said no way...I said OK, I quit. I don't blame him, but I missed out last summer riding much so time to make up for lost time.

Welcome, Richard! Joined on April Fools Day...nice!! Western Oregon has some nice country to ride in. Glad to have you over here from the Vintage forum. Not as much discussion here on the vintage machines, but we still like to see older bikes!!
