Post a picture of your Oilhead

That's what we're thinking also...That's the week before NJ. The NJ gig is good for kids because we turn it into camping...for them the racing is in the background. Still, I'd rather spend the dough supporting something worthwhile, not the knuckleheads at DMG...

2004 1150rt - One last ride. She's being sold to make way for another bike. Probably a 1200GS. We still have F650GS, 650XChallenge, and 1974 R90/6. No shortage of bikes at our house.

R1100sa

First day out after I rescued the bike from a 3+ year garage sentence (a true travesty of justice). It took about 2 months of work (between the dealer and I) to make her roadworthy again. Photo was taken in April 0f 2009.

Custom R1150R

Hey Texasdad,

I see you made some changes to your bike; I wasn't crazy about the front fender either so I changed mine as well.

I recently purchased this 98 with 26K from the Flea Market. Purchased site unseen except for photos. After speaking with seller briefly I agreed to purchase. Hired a local co to pickup and deliver. This is the third BMW I have purchased from the flea market over the years. The first two I picked up myself (gas was cheaper then). I drove 750 miles each way for the second one. Can't think of another group of folks I would trust enough to be willing to do this with.
This bike came well outfitted with the three bags, works shocks front and rear, russel saddle, new battery, recent service, ect.
It is still winter here. Can't wait to ride. This bike replaced my K75RT that served me very well for over ten years. I wanted to upgrade to ABS brakes and more room for two, I have a passenger now. I am hoping the suspension on the new bike provides a better ride for us on our poor Maine roads.
Looking forward to another long, loving relationship with the new RT.
See you on the road,
Mark from Maine

Very nice indeed. That colour is my favourite for that bike. :thumb I might be biased regarding the colour since I've owned three cars in that colour.

My new '99R1100Rt fresh home from Phoenix.

32,000 miles, ABS, stock seat, Metzlers Z6, BMW systems cases. Excellent condition.:wave:thumb:dance

Ms G Thinks she's SUPER

Ms G and I have ran each of the Not Superman Rallies. She thinks she's indestructable, but I remind her she's human like us all. :whistle

2002 R1150RS - just bought it March 6, 2010

Bought this and picked it up in Jacksonville, FL, drove it down 360 miles to Fort Lauderdale. It was bike week in Daytona, but I didn't have time to stop. I was on a mission to get this beauty home.

First 2010 ride on the wife's S yesterday.
Since my GT is STILL in the shop from a deer strike in November. They are waiting for a front frame bit from Germany.
