d'milan your welcome . The HIDs are such a welcome change for increased lighting and safety . Additionally they increase your visibility to Critters of the 2 and 4 legged variety. I would definitely do the HID conversion before LED..
As far as LEDs I would add them or HID driving lights to complement my current setup. Driving light placement in my opinion is best placed both above and inboard to the mirrors. It is just a matter of fabricating said bracket. My friend Jim Owen 2009 IBR winner turned me on to a bracket for the RTP lights that mount to the mirror mounts. More research required for this, I have a set of cherry PHID 4s for this setup. Lastly if I did not have the P4s LED would be my next choice for driving lights. Perhaps another discussion is in order regarding this topic

Awesome job!

This is one of the best installation How-To's I have read in some time. :thumb Thank you for your detailed report Peter! I believe I will be undertaking this using your guide this May.
