Hello from Surprise, AZ

As a new member, I'm opening with a problem with my 2003 K1200LT.
Tried posting to the correct thread yesterday, but not sure where it went.
My problem is with starting it. Recently, I was unable to "unlock" the security by using the "fob". I hear a soft, click, but not the fuel pump activating and the security light going out. If I get lucky with starting it, I have v. little confidence with leaving my destination!
Would consider disconnecting the security portion to eliminate this problem, if I find out how to do it. I have zero concerns with a having this security system.
