Anyone been following The Dakar?

Looks like it's wrapping up and it seems like not the fanfare of the past.
Interesting route-

-although I did like it better when it was Paris-Dakar.

The web site is loaded with content, much more than in the past....kinda tough to sort, but it's all there.

I miss the coverage the old "Speed-vision" / "Speed" used to give it.

What we need is a good reality program like the Real Housewives of Termas Del Rio Hondo, or maybe Antofagasta Choppers or something so the moguls who run TV channels would become endeared to the Dakar.
