Bought this one to try out a K (being sorta forever stuck on airheads)
Won't never sell it! Best touring machine I ever owned!

Sweeeet! That color combo (red/yellow) is the first K1 I ever saw... at a rally in Oregon back in 1992, I think it was, and I've wanted a K1 ever since. Finally got mine (the blue/silver one posted earlier in this thread) and it's everything I thought it would be--and more! Took it for a "quick jaunt" up to Pennsylvania last Sunday, and ended up doing a 650-mile day! :wow

What an incredible machine... God bless those wonderful German engineers. :german

One K giving another K a ride........

That's a great picture... sorta captures the dual nature (sport-tourer/workhorse) of the good ol' flying brick, eh? I love it! :D

Joe, beautiful shot, awesome bike! Is it, as I think, the K?Ânigsblau color? (that's what my k75 is).

My first K

My '91 K100RS, which I retired and parted out at 160,000 miles.
Here it is at the summit of Mount Evans in Colorado - the highest paved road in the United States.

K100RS Style 87

My K100RS Style 87 - On the road from may 1988, totally restored two years ago, twice at the Bmw Bikermeeting in Garmisch - 9000 Km after the restoration, about 150.000 Km during it's life.
Very nice rideing it across the alps.

Dang that's nice. It reminds me that I was wishing I had my K75 when I was in the Alps. It would have been just right!
