A friend and I rode through Western CT this weekend and ended up at the Mayflower Inn located in Washington. It's a traditional New England Country Inn with exquisite food and service. We sat out on the veranda drinking and relaxing. There are tennis courts and a pool.
We were thinking it would make a perfect home base for fall foliage rides. There are great venues in Western CT including covered bridges, waterfalls, fly fishing and twisty roads.

PM me for details or look me up in the Anon Book.

Western CT is a great area, plus you're close to the Birkshires and the Adirondaks, and only a little farther away from the Green Mountains.
