1989 ? The Troubles: Attack on Derryard checkpoint ? The Provisional Irish Republican Army launches an attack on a British Army temporary vehicle checkpoint near Rosslea, Northern Ireland. Two British soldiers are killed and one badly wounded.

I guess the American military operation "Just Cause" to oust Manuel Noriega in Panama on Dec 20th and the good men who died that day like James Markwell are erased from the history books.

Now regarding math and Pi... Let me see. When I jumped into Panama at 01:03 local time at 500' AGL with a military issue parachute and reserve the T-10B parachute I wore fell at a rate of 22' per second when it was fully inflated. Assuming I used 100 feet in static line free fall based on a C-141's jumper release speed of 130KIAS would my reserve have enough time to deploy and inflate before I hit the ground if my main failed to deploy?

Nice haircuts. If we apply math with pi and the useless but interesting information posted, when can I expect my hair will grow back?

a) Post the 2 oil weights. We need more info.
b) Exactly what does this have to do with the date thing and/or PI?

a. 0-20 & 5-20---FWIW, I knew it was a "CAFE thing" not an "engine thing", just anothe effort at being "cute", which is sometimes reffered to as "being a smartaxx".
b. absolutely nothing to do with dates or PI-it's numbers & trying for something "cute" to say;)

0 or 5W-20? When you think about it, that's amazing.

Actually, what's more amazing is I've never looked at my oil filler cap or knew that I've been running these oils for the past 21-months.......:blush

This here "math", or is it "this math here" is over my head. I'm heading back over to the Ford F-150 forum and talk about rear axle ratios! :banghead

Always a good day when mathematical computations are simple enough to not need toes in proving it out :doh

March 14 (3.14), interestingly enough, is also Einstein's birthday (1879)...

My being a mathematician by training and my wife being a math teacher (retired), Pi Day has always been big around our house.
