I called the convention center this morning and asked about
accomodations and they said that 8 rooms had just opened up at the Hampton Inn due to cancellations:

I called the hotel & grabbed one @ $81.00. there may be more...if
you're on the fence and want to go. If these rooms dry up, for an
update of other openings due to cancellation try calling:
