New member and GSA owner from Concord NC

Hello from Concord North Carolina. Just added my first BMW, a 2015 GSA (the very first to be delivered at the dealer) to the garage.
It's been several years since owning an "adventure" bike and I'm loving this one after mainly riding my HD Ultra limited the last few years. I think maybe it will be seeing a lot fewer miles from now on
I've already been able to hit some dirt roads and one of the easier trails out at Uwharrie last weekend. (Got a few comments about being nuts while on the trail)
Didn't know what fun I've been missing!

Welcome to the forum and the MOA! That's quite a step to the GSA...that will really let you explore some nice roads in your part of the country! Let us know if you have any questions about the forum or otherwise.

    Hey there....

From one fellow North Carolinian to another..... welcome! The best part is, when the road ends....you can can just keep on going May I ask what dealer you bought yours at? As I'm waiting on my 2015 RT I have ordered from GaciaMoto in Raleigh.

    Enjoy your new GSA,

    AB

    Welcome aboard!

Welcome to the club - nice ride you have there. I just traded my GS on a GTL - kinda miss my GS and the ability to not let the pavement ending end my ride - but wife loves the GTL so what's a guy gonna do.

    Thanks for being a member!

    Thanks for the replies.

I did a short section of the Wolf Den trail at Uwharrie. Before chickening out I did catch some decent air

I too know the importance of having a bike the wife can live with.
That's one of the main reasons I keep the Harley. She's been know to sleep on the back of this rolling sofa. That and hey... if she's ok with keeping it... and I found a place in the garage to wedge it in...
