K1200GT 2007 (Sec Gen) Retrofit ASC

I had the ASC option on my R1200RT 07 and 08 models. I do not have that option on my used K1200GT.

Am correct to assume that the ASC option on my K1200GT is retrofittable by the dealer via the 77_0311 kit? Appears to be a software addition including the handlebar, that's it!?

Would that be a worth while option?
