More Coocase woes

Just cleaning the bike after an all- day ride and I found the Coocase top box was loose - very loose. In fact, only the lock was holding it on. Looking inside I found it was cracked right across, allowing it to flex so it had disengaged at the front. Plus the rack mount was loose. I don't know which caused which, but I obviously nearly lost the whole thing.
So I glued and through- bolted a couple of strips of 1/4" acrylic sheet inside, which seems to have done the trick ( except, of course, the bolt- heads got in the way so I had to grind the rack away where they interfered).
I guess the verdict is that the Coocase may be cheap: but it ain't worth it. That's less than a year of use.:evil:evil:blush
