    Want to buy a 30th anniversary 2014 K1300S, but!

I looked into buying the 30th anniversary model K1300S, and found none are in US currently. I am on a order list but without a production date nothing happens! I looked into this months ago. How many interested parties will it take for BMW to tool up and build some? Luckily the dealer will not take a down payment without a productions date. Anybody know how BMW motorcycles get produced?

    Thanks,
    Ranger Ron

My understanding is that they tool up and start producing the next year's model in September after the normal European August Holiday period. If that is correct and you haven't seen a production date yet I would say your window of opportunity is closing rapidly.

    Cool New bike new plan

After seeing the unveiling of the 2015 K1300S, I've ordered one of them! Same set up, prettier color scheme.

    Thanks to all for replies.
