After working with some of the default and embedded information for the vBulletin forum software, a number of old skins have been updated and are available for use. Skins are what changes the color and appearance of the various forum areas. We hope to make more changes in the future, and you should see some rotating images at the top of the screen. Also, we may look into having skins developed from scratch for specific times or situations.
Some of the skins may appear to be very similar, but there are probably subtle differences in certain places. Try selecting a skin one at a time and see what it looks like on your screen. Find something that suits your eyes and go from there. A word of caution, I recommend not selecting the Mobile style if you're using a standard computer. It's pretty difficult to switch out of it once you do select it.
To view the skin choices, go to the pulldown box in the lower left of the forum main page. When you click on the arrow, you should see a box like the one below. Everyone was given the default skin vB4 Default Style. Click on some of the other names and the page will refresh. Again, be wary of the mobile style for use on desktops or laptops.
Each time you visit the forum, your selection should remain in place provided your cookie selections are correct. If for some reason, the skin reverts to say the default style, go to your Settings in the upper right and select General Settings on the left. Near the bottom of that page, you should see a similar pulldown box for Forum Skins.
Try them out! Let us know if something doesn't work right.
