I knocked mine out and took them to a bearing house. They matched them from the little tiny numbers you can't read. They weren't from a country that now owns Hong Kong and had a good name on them. Fit fine.

Bought the rear end bearing and seal set the same way. Freakazoid gear set was BMW, ouch.

Having a machine shop background, I also always check with a bearing house (Bearing
distributors (BDI) and many others).

However, I have found that sometime Max's is cheaper! Other times the bearing houses are cheaper. On seals, every time I have checked, Max's has been best.

Gentlemen of the forum. Is this 2 piece bearing removal and replacement better trusted to someone with deja vu on this ?

Step by step guide to insure a successful job of removal and replacement?

I don't want to screw this up :dunno
