buying a 1996 R11R

Hope to get it this weekend. I have on old set or tubular bar adapters, anyone put K75C bars on a R11R?

Great! Post new pics ASAP. I'm also looking to replace the cast bars with either clip on's or a tubular with adapter?if you do it then please detail the project.

All the best!
Eli

Finally got the R11R, 2,100 miles, Reynolds rack, 52 ltr. Givi trunk, corbin leather seat. Changed all the fluids, set (checked) the valves, replaced the fuel lines. Winter project is the K 75 C bar conversion.

Great looking ride...Congrats on the buy :clap

2100 miles:bow
Wow,
you need to go break it in:ha

Change out those rubber brake lines as well !

If those are the original tires, keep an eye on them for cracking and be careful, especially in the wet.

The new Pilot Road 3's are in the garage already. The tires still look new, no cracks, weather checks, leaks, etc. but at 19+ years old? The bike lived it's entire sedate life in my brother in law's heated garage. Next step get rid of the Corbin and get a Russell. The ABS works great with a new battery, has the extra clock and tach package, heated grips, going out to west next week to give it a real ride.
