For those of you who have rode from Jacksonville to San Diego in 50 hours or less, I would appreciate advice on how to plan this trip. What time is the best time to start the ride to minimize traffic? When is the best time to stop for sleep, so that I hit the traffic patterns at the correct time? What goals did you set for the first 12 hours, the first 24 hours, etc? Is there anything on that route for which I need to be prepared? Thanks for any advice.
