Reynolds Part Numbers

Darryl Cainey

Sir Darby
I know Reynolds has been out of business for a long time, does anyone have a list of part numbers
and what they fit?

I have come across many old and new racks and backrests.

I just want to advertise the correct information.

Thanks

Duane Ausherman has a page on his website that has Reynolds brochures circa 1983...he actually got them from me. His website is:

http://w6rec.com/duane/bmw/index.htm

Put Reynolds in the search box.

I'm actually having trouble getting to his website...once I land on the site, it immediately bounces to the BMW Webring and there's no way to get back. Maybe I'm the only one having the issue. But give it a try. I could find the original scans and provide them...somehow.

Reynolds items

I have the literature on Reynolds backrests, center-stands, ETC. Reynolds description and numbers versus bikes they fit, ETC.
I've never bothered to put them on my website, maybe I should do a simple article and put scans on my site.

That would be good...do you have some of the later brochures? When did they go out of production?

The exact date they went out of business, depending on what THAT means, is a bit questionable. We've had a thread about that, lately, on the Airheads LIST.
I had a LOT of Reynolds information, and decided to put it all on my website, and only just completed it over the weekend.
Includes extensive part numbers, descriptions, photos,
original brochures, pricing when Luftmeister sold them, and others, etc.

Thank you Mr. Fleischer! I have finally identified my Reynolds back rest and it's part number thanks to this brochure. I bought and mounted it so my daughter could come on the occasional ride with me on my RS. Everyone says it "ruins the lines" but hey, it was worth it given the purpose.

You are a seemingly endless font of useful information and I for one appreciate it very much! :bow
