    Regional Road Food!

Tell us about the food you've found or stumbled on while on the road. Let us know what places and food you go out of your way to get back to. Some of you take pictures, too...that would be nice to see as well. Sometimes it's about the journey, sometimes it's about the destination. Heck, sometimes it's about the food!

Be sure to include the city and state in the post title...that makes it easy to spot something interesting, nearby, or on the way.

Here's a map that has been compiled over on Facebook showing places that others thought were worth the stop:

    Smile Like BBQ?

Yup, I know the best BBQ is found down south but I happened across this place in Sturbridge, Mass... It's called BT Smokehouse, on Route 20/Main Street about half a mile west of the intersection of Rt 20 and Rt 131. It's on the right if you are traveling west and you have to be looking for it because its a small place. I had the brisket the few times I've been there and it was consistently really good! If it's any indication, it always seems to be crowded... Enjoy!

    The Porch - Ellensburg WA

Had a great meal, NY Strip and good beer at "The Porch" in Ellensburg. Lots of beers to choose from, the steak was $30 and damn fine!

    Good job!

I've been to several of these restaurants and they were wonderful. Excellent choices. I never had the 6lb. burger at Denney's Beer Barrel Pub but I've never seen so many items on one menu. By the way, how much do you weigh?

Big W BBQ - Wingdale, NY

Went to Big W BBQ in Wingdale, NY this weekend. Heard about it somewhere on STN, can't remember the thread. Anyway, it was very good and is worth the ride to check it out. there's some real nice riding in the area too.

Some good pastries and pizza up the street at Cousin's if you're interested in a little dessert after BIG W.

No affiliation, just spreading the word on some good eats.

I'll add a second for the Toymaker Café. Just one thing.....it is located in Falls Village, Conneticut (not Massachusetts).
