It took a while and a wait to get here. My first bike was a 67 Triumph Bonneville. That one got traded away until a few years ago when I bought a HD cruiser. Living in the scrub-steppe requires a bike that takes to a rough road better and a friend had me looking at a 1200GS. It's a huge difference.

Welcome to the Club! You're going to love the GS. For us flatlanders, what and/or where is scrub-steppe?

Welcome to the family. Glad to have you here.

Like Chasman, I have know idea where you live. Eastern Oregon?????

Welcome! I don't know what a scrub-steppe is but I think you have the right bike for it!.
