Hello from the great white North. I picked up a Dakar last year and had a blast on it. Since the BMW was a great welcome from the DR650s in handling, smoothness and comfort why not buy another bmw. Since we frequent Vegas so much I picked up a 05 K1200LT for our visits. Now I and my wife are spoiled!!! I have to keep telling myself to put my feet down when stopping. It feels like a Lazy Boy, it's that comfy....

I bet the LT is heavier than a Lazy Boy!! But a nice bike, for sure. Sounds like you keep bikes in both places. Not a bad idea. Enjoy the forum and ask if you have any questions.

It sure is but well worth it. I don't mind it even for my small stature. Smoothest thing I have ever been on. Now I keep looking for any small excuse to go to Vegas...

Welcome. So glad to have another new member.

Funny, you live in one of the dream destinations for a lot of riders and your dream is to ride in Vegas!!!!!

How about a pic of both bikes? We love to look at bike porn. :thumb
