Anyone enjoy ATV's?

ATVs

I have mixed feelings on ATVs. On one hand I make good money repairing them
for local ranchers and farmers. On the other, I think they are too easy to ride
and see folks getting in over their heads all the time at the local beach (Pismo).
For myself I prefer a fat tired motorcycle over 4 wheels as well as something street legal.
But if it gets more trails for public use.......I'm all for it.

I have the TW200 as well. I have been contemplating a 2X6 seat change for comfort :D

ATV riding trails are expanding in Wisconsin also. Some of the towns up north allow them to be ridden on designated roads in town. People can set out for the trails on their ATVs, right from their motel rooms(snowmobiles in the winter).
I live in Jefferson county, the state has started to designate some of the back roads here as ATV accessible. It looks to be low traffic volume and a top speed of 45 mph as part of the criteria. You can look at www.watva.org/index.php/riding/trails for more information. The Wisc, DNR has a paper map of trails, but I can not find it in their web site. The Michigan U.P. also has extensive trails across it.
