Another event I will be watching for is the string of Starlink satellites as they fly by. I haven’t seen them in person yet but pictures have them looking like a string of pearls.

I've seen the space station moving across the sky but once. I'm always looking up and finding certain constellations I know, the north star etc. A few of the brightest stars out here is Betelgeuse and Rigel in the Orion constellation.
I try to find the seven sisters often, sometimes hard to do with naked eye.

East coast areas may get to see rocket launch tonight, 8-1-23 around 8:30pm.

Just plug in your info and you'll get a text with the time and trajectory of the ISS. Its bright and its big and it moves pretty fast. Usually visible for 6 or 7 minutes. You can't miss it. Very cool.
