Nothing much locally is going to compete with what is lined up at the Rally. Each band pretty much has dance-ability, but especially Thursday and Saturday. In fact, I challenge all but the most dead or sober not to shake their groove thing Sat. night. The Beef and Bourbon doesn't usually do live music in the summer as it competes with the outdoor music scene. Friday nights in Lima during the summer are the best for your request, www.rallyinthesquare.com and there IS a Rally Friday night, but who would want to go downtown for that when George Thorogood and Stacy Mitchhart is free at the fairgrounds is beyond me! Let me know what you think of Stacy's show; I am particularly enamored of this band. The bands this year have been specifically picked to give you what you want and entertain the crap outta ya!
