2013 R1200RT top box ???

i should be out riding!
am having the top of the 49 liter top box painted to match the Fluid Gray Metallic and wanted to know if anyone has been able to remove the black liner from the top side of the top box....looks as though it is glued in place where the backrest attached to the top of the box...

as always, any and all help is appreciated...:)

it appeared that the black "liner" of the top box is glued to the outer painted skin.....

the paint guys are taping off the liner.....

will post pics when finished...
