95' R1100R Roadster, RAM mount Base?

I have and use a GPS on my other bikes and 4 wheeled things.
I'm looking for a 'RAM base' to mount on my 1995 R1100R roadster. I just need a base.
I'm wondering how you roadster owners have mounted your GPS using a 1" ball RAM 'base'?

Pic's?

no pics handy

used a longer bolt on one of the 4 point aluminum bar mounts...got a angled ball with a small tab, had to enlarge the hole for the bolt a bit.

Another alternative

Here is another alternative for a position on the handlebar closer to the grip. It shares the bolt with the windshield mount.
