Just received current issue of Roadracing World, and BMW is a repeat winner in their comparison testing of similar bikes, i.e. "Open Class Shootout." I'm a new subscriber and can only relate that this time it beat ...

The S1000RR is indeed a good handling rocket ship!
 
I've had RRW subscription for over a decade now, it's a mainstay in the household of three track bikes and multiple club roadracing licenses. Last year was a close win for the big, stock Beemer over the ZX10, then the HP4 is released and the win should have been easy....
...but they did not offer a HP4 and the stock RR won by a larger margin!

...if only BMWNA could offer a club racer package of spares and prize money linked to dealerships...
