Tourance Rear for GSA - Tourance v. Tourance EXP v. Tourance Next

I've been banished to this forum. Anyway, for an R12GSA, highway miles, who can speculate what could provide the best mileage - freeways, two-laners and occasional gravel: The 'regular' Tourance, the Tourance EXP or the new (I guess) Tourance Next/ Metzeler's website sez the 'Next' is OEM on new GS models.

Anyone have any experience or opinions?

Regular tourance will outlast the exp.Have put 45 miles on a set of next, but hope they will outdo the regulars.Ed

Tires

I have had both...not enough miles on the EXP set to review. I will only buy the Tourance for they have stuck to the road in many a situation. Sticking to me is more valuable the milage. I ride mostly hardball but sometimes hit the occasional dirt road. Most of the Carolina secondary roads are abused pavement, the Tourance does its job better then a true street.

Been there, not going back:)

Since I got my Heidenau's a while back and now with about 3000m on them. I won't go back to Tourance or BS BattleWings or anything else, IF these give me the over the top miles they say they will. Most/many are reporting way over 10000/12000m for the rears and 14000+ on fronts. All my previous aboves are gone at 8-9000m and I may have squeezed 10000m out of a front in my past. SO FAR the Heidi's are a keeper, no looking back for me:). Ive got about 400000m+ on GSs and GSAs logged. so a lot of tires gone thru:). Randy

Agree with what has been posted thus far... EXP have me about half the miles on the rear tire... of the regular Tourance.

I've got about 6k on the Next's. They seem to be wearing as well as the many sets of regular Tourance tires I've gone thru.

I have about 70,000 mi on reg Tourance, and have also run thru two sets of EXP's. I got similar gas mileage with both tires, 42-45 mpg ( better in Colorado ), also similar distance 8,000-10,000 mi. neither one is up for more than a gravel road, but the EXP's are way more fun on the pavement IMO. I will be putting a new set of EXP's on soon.
