Sorry to see that but glad you are not hurt.

Love to see the headlight guard did it's job.

One of the guys I ride with has terrible luck with birds. They always fly at him and I am not sure why.

Just happy your upright and will get squared away pretty easily on that one.

And of course it could be worse, it could have had hooves and horns.

Glad you weren't hurt and it looks like damage is minimal. Worst I've encountered over many years of riding, were a couple bird strikes on my windshield and one that got me on the face-shield, which was plastic and broke, at the corner and left his leg jammed into my forehead. Happened on the way to work when I lived in CO.

2015 r1200r

I just re-joined MOA after taking a 10 year hiatus from motorcycling. Previously put a ton of miles on a 2003 R1150RT, and before that I raced motocross and flat track. I love this R1200R, it’s a torque monster and handles flawlessly.

New-to-me 2016 RT. Less than 3K miles on it!
I'm actually a little worried about that low mileage, I need to get it in for a 5K service and new tires ASAP.
