Dealer pix of my bike, delivery soon. Needed Sport wheels and a little Option 719 to balance that triple black thing...

Congrats ! I have never been a black bike fan (color is very personal and just my hating keeping black clean) but I do like those wheels VERY nice addition.

Happy 2022!

Looks nice. I was temped to order the 719 wheels when I ordered our bikes but was afraid they might be heavier due to the larger spokes.
The other reason was the White RS comes with gloss black wheels which looks nice.
They look nice in the garage but are dusty by the time I get to the end of the driveway :)
Getting the wheels when you order is a lot cheaper than buying later. I think it saves you a couple thousand dollars.

Only had it for a couple days before snow and then later, torrential downpours. About 100 miles now, still feeling things out! Definitely an improvement on the ST1300, although, for now, the ST1300 is a bit more comfortable due to the raised bars and lowered pegs. Awaiting parts to do the same on the beemer. The BMW feels MUCH lighter than the Honda. Lighter clutch, lighter throttle (for a minute I thought the throttle was binding when I got back on the Honda briefly), lighter handling. Easier to back up or maneuver off the bike. BMW wind a weather protection is also an improvement. Honda has a little bit softer ride, perhaps due to the weight of the bike. Engines are quite different. Honda is butter smooth. BMW kind of lets you know when the cam shifts! Both have gobs of power!

2016 R1200GS

Washing it after trip from MN to pacific coast highway.

Urgh. I'll rotate picture later. Unsure why it's showing that way.

Just finished transferring farkles from my 2017 GSA. It goes to DMC to have a sidecar added as soon as we get a break in the weather.

It's been about two weeks since the bike (2018 R1200 GS) came home. It had a little under 1,500 miles when I bought it. It needed service, which is done and I've added cylinder head protectors, frame guards by the foot pegs, and the inexpensive phone adaptor for the GPS mount. At some point, I plan on getting crash bars, a tank bag or handlebar bag, and different foot pegs (the stock foot pegs seem rather narrow). Here's the bike on my first ride - excluding riding it home and then in for service. Still getting used to it, but that should be fun.

Very nice !! Many miles of smiles !!

You may want to check out the Givi TankLock bags ! I love the one I have on my RT !! Easiest on/off bag ever and never touches the tank.

Latest arrival…

Finally arrived yesterday, sat in NY port for weeks. The snow shovel to right is seeing all the action right now.

Nice bike motodan ! I have a triple black on order and am very anxious to get mine. I have yet to see one in person outside in daylight. In the fluorescent light the only time i saw one the paint seemed to have a brown tint. What does it look like in bright sunshine? Black or is there an obvious tint to it ?

My new (to me) 2021 GSA joined its 2014 RT cousin earlier this month. I think the GSA will be around much longer than the RT, but who knows? (Besides my wife, that is…) At least I don’t have to change my riding gear color scheme.

I had the top and side case covers painted to match the rest of my RS. I also decided to have the under engine winglets done as well. Talked to my local auto body man, ordered a pint of A89 Imperial Blue Cromax Pro, and here we are!
First time out of the house, in the sunlight, since having the paint work done in December. I'm very happy with the job. Perfect colour match, looks like it should have from the factory, IMHO.
