alarms

anybody here use something like this when staying in a motel on a road trip?

I use a cable and lock to secure the bike to a permanent pole, railing, fence, etc. and a full cover to protect the bike from prying eyes. If I think I might need more than that, I find a better motel.

A cover is probably the single best deterrent. And a well-lit parking area right outside your room. Locks won't stop professionals, only amateur thieves and joyriders, and they don't want my R-RT anyway.
